Well i really loved Le Fabouleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain
(trailer: http://movies.virginmedia.com/player/default.asp?url=/film/fid1626/trailers/trid563/wm/bb.asx&filmid=1626&trid=563&partner=virgin&sec=trl&psec=trlaz)
The film's really good, the trailer makes it look a bit weird though, makes it look like it's full of special effects Confused Anyway, def worth a look!

Another French movie (same director) is Un Long Dimanche de Fiancailles (Very long Engagement for you English ppl Wink ). It's about a girl who lost her boyfriend during WW1.
(trailer: http://movies.virginmedia.com/player/default.asp?url=/film/fid4054/trailers/trid1619/wm/bb.asx&filmid=4054&trid=1619&partner=virgin&sec=trl&psec=)

More to come soon!

First off
Transformers the movie! yes ok so we've all seen it and watching Optimus die was hard for us all but Micheal Bay has managed to get his hands on the rights and the chance to mess up a great bit of film history yet again!! well I'm hoping not with Steven Speilberg holing the reins, but watch the trailer for yourself! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZp75fWe-ss
Release date: 4th of July (how patriotic Cool )
300. From the people that did Sin City another comic turn film about 300 Spartans against a Million Persian sodliers, animals and err things. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhi5x7V3WXE
Out now I believe.
[300 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0iSCQcXFta4&NR well they didnt auto assign!]

Ok so it wasnt first off but I answered the door. Shawn of the dead was a great film and I now always eat a cornetto after house parties but Hot Fuzz (out now) will sit next to my Shawn dvd with pride when it's out. I laughed harder at one scene than i did for Borat.

the best film ever made has to be Hannibal. Antony Hopkins is a Brilliant actor. Silence of the lambs is ok, would of been better if Jodie Foster wasnt in it. Man Hunter was the first film in the trillogy although Antony Hopkins didnt play Lecter.Silence of the lambs was next followed by Hannibal and then Red Dragon. Hannibal Rising is out now but i havnt seen it yet.

LOL have lot you only been allowed to watch Films in the last five years or something?

If you really want to expand your movie horizons you watch things like the The Seventh Seal (1957) with the classic theme of a warrior from the crusades playing chess with death!

Apocalypse Now
'I Love the smell of Napalm in the morning'

Raging Bull
For De Niro's shear ordacity to be such a method actor and put on 30lbs

Jaws
As you'll never think of Sharks in the same way again.

My list of fav films is endless because there so much content in all the movies I watch, and trust me I have to watch more than most. I find that the movies that really stick with me are those that place a slight side ways glance on the way I perceive life.

Cracking and suprisingly good movies I've seen lately...

The Queen.
Her Royal Highness ain't that bad and I wrote the movie synopsis on the back of the DVD.

Rocky Balboa
He's back as good as Rocky 1 despite the botox

Blood Diamond
Two months earlier and Forest wouldn't have got his Oscar

Bad movie's I've seen lately.

Eragon
A direct copy of Star Wars (a bad copy too)

Epic Movie
Not worth the 13 million budget Fox wasted on it.

The Marine
John Cena, WWE champion plays Ex-marine John (how original) and fights tp rescue his wife from Diamod thieves holding her hostage!!!!
